. KAiTLYNN SERA MOON .
I don't wanna be the girl who laughs the loudest
Or the girl who never wants to be alone
I don't wanna be that call at four o'clock in the morning
'Cause I'm the only one you know in the world that won't be home
Or the girl who never wants to be alone
I don't wanna be that call at four o'clock in the morning
'Cause I'm the only one you know in the world that won't be home
Thoughts of the past few months were bitter, unsweetened by the events that had happened and the fact she was then moved to a different country. Far, far away from anything she'd ever known. She'd only been able to bring one of her dogs and one of her horses, it had been a hard choice to pick between the animals she had known most of her life, now her only family. She now owned the only home she'd ever lived in, but had been moved for she was told, her own safety. My own safety? Who would want to hurt or endanger me? What have I done? She did not deny it baffled her, ever since she was told she itched to know what was out there. What her parents had done to endanger her with their deaths. What secrets did my parents keep from me?'I'm safe, up high .. nothing can touch me.'
Kai sang along to the lyrics blasting out of her headphones. Those few lines, she wished they were oh so true. Her pretty grey eyes focused for the first time on where she was, soft grass tickled her lightly tanned skin above the top of her trainers. The smell of the fresh, slightly salty smell of the sea filled her nostrils. She fingered the straps of the rucksack as she glanced around. She felt so out of place among these Americans. They all seemed to go about their business without a care in the world, all busy going places as fast as they could. Such a city life she was not used to. The people here did not float and dream as she seemed to, wandering around this new land.
Grabbing a black strap on her bag, she swung it down, resting it against a tree by the sand dunes. Stray grains of sand were flicked over its canvas material, the red to yellow stripes over the bag shone like the sun. Slipping off her vans, Kai let her body sink to the floor making a quiet thump as her bum hit the bouncy grass. She looked around again as she pulled of her white trainer socks. No one is watching me .. no one cares what I do. Jumping up she began to warm up, doing her stretches ready for some work. Quickly she went through a combination of martial art moves, hitting and blocking the thin air. The world around her faded, the busy traffic noises slowly ran to silence.
I don't wanna be the girl who has to fill the silence...
The quiet scares me 'cause it screams the truth
Please don't tell me that we had that conversation
When I won't remember, save your breath, 'cause what's the use?
The quiet scares me 'cause it screams the truth
Please don't tell me that we had that conversation
When I won't remember, save your breath, 'cause what's the use?
