While his parents were on vacation in Nashville Tennessee, he was born in a '3 star hospital' you can say. Growing up was normal; only catch was he was mostly home alone around the house since his dad worked 14 hours a day and his mother was an hour away selling her makeup line. His childhood went fine, always attending football and baseball practices every week. Being athletic was all he was about if you asked the other students. All he ever seemed to do was play sports - at least it kept him out of trouble... for some time.
Near the age of 15, he got into a bad group of friends, and soon after he joined a gang; the rebels. Robbing, loitering, damaging public property and graphite was growing into a normal thing with Gene. Years pasted, still doing sports and attending gang meetings every week what now his life. At the age of 17, he was at a party with his gang. He thought it was a normal night thinking back at it - but he always forgets that he's a 'loving' drunk when it comes down to the nitty gritty. A few months later after the party, a girl by the name of Erin called him, giving him the news that turned his life into a nightmare. She was pregnant with his baby.
At the age of 18, and the baby almost arriving, Erin's parents decided to split the couple apart, and moved across state. Ever since then they haven't talked to each other, and to this day he craves to see his child. Once he turned 19, he finally dropped out of the gang and decided to do more with his life. He enrolled in collage and went for his standard 4 years. Leaving home for collage was a big part in his life. New people to meet, new start. Always thinking positive about the outcomes is really the only way how he got through days. Collage was quick and clean for Gene, and now set off to more adventures, and decided to move up north for a change.

Like the leaf caught in the action, frozen deep beneath the surface near the bank no one had ever thought of saving it; god how that resembled what he was feeling for so long. Hands in pockets, rambling with some random object he had stored in there for later use. Fog dispersed from his nostrils; keeping a steady pace with his breaths. Supplying the oxygen he needed as the brisk frozen air pierced his lungs. Oddly colored eyes glanced around the park; seeing no one else around he found the closest bench, and stayed up there till something new, something eventful happened.
Emotions ran through his body -- finally having time to think and relax for some time, he needed this, this time of silence even the time of solitude being played was actually needed. Shaun had finally had a time to think after he had moved in from the equator; god how winter was not use to his schedule. Car horns echoed through the park, fading ever so softly as it passed the male sitting on the bench. A deep sigh caught him back to reality, still staring at that frozen block of glass. Back to that relax word; which Shaun did not have much of in his life. It was a weird word to him, for he never had a chance to use it, to even have a mere second with. Now he's got all the time he needs to relax -- what a slap in the face right? He didn't know what to do with all this time he has been given, he craved for having at least one person he can call a friend.
Sociable personality mostly took over his life; always having someone to talk to was in the 'norm' if it concerned Shaun. Now, having nothing but a self conscious to talk to. Maybe then he left regret, what if what he did; moving here, was the right move for him. Maybe it was just a huge mistake that he did in his life -- all of us know his life is full of them. He rested his head on his hand, supported by his leg. What a pitiful situation to be in. Sitting alone in a park, in the cold, wishing his life at least gave him a break. Almost seeming homeless he stood there and waited for something to happen around him; feeling the cold sink into his fingers and toes, he still sat, feeling as frozen as that pond lying in front of him.
